Interventional Radiology | Non-Surgical Thyroid Nodule Treatment

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bülent Çekiç has applied radiofrequency and microwave ablation treatments to more than 6000 benign thyroid nodules, 350 parathyroid adenomas, and 150 thyroid papillary microcarcinomas since 2013. He has published 6 research papers internationally on percutaneous thyroid thermal ablation and presented 7 oral presentations at international conferences.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bülent Çekiç has organized 12 training workshops for foreign physicians in various countries (Iraq, Morocco, India, Libya, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Hungary), and in most of these countries, thyroid ablation treatments were performed for the first time by him.
