Thyroid Microwave Ablation Workshop Antalya

On September 27-28, I organized a two-day "Thyroid Microwave Ablation Workshop" at my clinic in Antalya, with doctors from the USA, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.

On the first day, a theoretical presentation about Thyroid Microwave Ablation was made, followed by hands-on sessions with a total of 20 patients over the two days.

Additionally, for molecular studies, we performed tru-cut biopsies on 4 patients with thyroid nodules. It was both interesting and educational to learn about the approaches of doctors from different specialties towards thyroid nodules. I would like to extend my special thanks to Dr. James Sulibruk from Baylor College of Medicine for sharing the latest information with us about current molecular studies on thyroid nodules.
